Rabak silo project (under construction) considered as one of big projects to be undertake by government. The RSCO. Mission headed by the SRCO General manger visited China to stand on the Chinese experience in building silos and getting offers to undertake this project. Nowadays contacts are going on with specialized and experienced companies to have offers for construction of many silos in different parts of the Sudan especially in the production areas.

 Within the frame work the SRCO had finished the flowing steps:

-     Approval from the while Nile govt. for the land where the silo is to be build.

-     The silo test.

-      The gio&tech assessment.

-      Visit of Chinese delegation to sign the contract.

 Badawi Elkhair had announced that the procedures of importing 100mt of sorghum had been finished as first and will be followed by others during the coming weeks.

100.000mts will be imported by private Sector and government to bridges the short in food.
